Get CNA or CMA Certified While You Are Still in High School
You don’t have to wait until you graduate to start your post-high school education. High school juniors and seniors can benefit from taking courses at Quality Career Pathways:
Select One of Our Flexible After School Schedules
Classes are offered in the evenings (generally from 5:15pm until about 9:30pm), over the weekend, or you can take a weekday course over school break. Check out our Course Calendars to find the right time for you.
Take Advantage of the Age Requirements
If you are at least 15 years old and expected to turn 16 within three months of completion of the course, you can enroll in a CNA course.
Test the Waters of a Medical Career
If you are considering a career in the medical field, you should enroll in our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Course. At only $495 for this 40-hour course, it is a great way to get a feel for this field without a large investment. And since you will eventually need to complete this course for a nursing degree, you will be one step ahead when you start your higher education journey. Learn more.
Build Your Resume
Exploring a variety of learning environments looks great on a resume – regardless of your final career destination. Consider taking the Basic Life Support (BLS) course. It is approximately 4 hours and can be completed in one afternoon. Almost anyone can see the value of knowing proper CPR and AED skills.
Consider a College Alternative
Two or four-year colleges are not for everyone. Explore a career as a CNA or CMA and work in the medical field. Want to know the difference between a CNA and CMA to make a decision? Visit this page to learn more.
