CNA COURSE DESCRIPTION

A Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is a healthcare professional who provides basic care to patients, assisting them with daily activities that they may have trouble completing on their own. These tasks may include checking vital signs, making up patient beds, and personal grooming.

NOTE: Not all schools include testing fees with registration resulting in an additional payment to a 3rd party at a later date. Testing is INCLUDED with QCP payment at time of registration. Testing is completed on site at the completion of class.

ALL COURSES AVAILABLE

A Certified Nursing Assistant helps patients or clients with healthcare needs under supervision. Duties often include tasks such as checking vital signs, making up patient beds and assisting patients with personal tasks.

76 Hours: 44 Online & 32 Classroom -Or- 76 Classroom

A Certified Medication Aide administers routine oral medications and is responsible for monitoring a patient’s vitals and behavior while on medication. The CMA training program will prepare you for work in a health care facility or in a residential setting.

40 Hours: 24 Online & 16 Classroom

This Pharmacy Technician Program is a 12-week course that combines online learning, classroom hours, and onsite training. Through a partnership with Community Pharmacy, students will get hands-on experience in a pharmacy setting.

140 Hours: 124 Online, 8 Classroom & 8 Externship

This one-day CNA Pediatric Program, authored by Omaha’s Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, will teach you how to adapt your CNA skills in order to care for children. Additionally, it will prepare you to work within hospital and clinic settings.

7 Hours: 3.5 Online & 3.5 Classroom

This half-day course will teach you skills such as proper CPR techniques, AED instruction and how to remove airway obstructions in both adults and infants. Note: most hospitals and clinics require their employees to be BLS Certified.
