Go from lapsed status to an active status in ONE DAY with our CNA Refresher Class
What is a CNA Refresher Course for?
Certified nursing assistants and nurse aides work with patients to provide health care under the supervision of a licensed or registered nurse. CNAs have already completed training courses or a training program and obtained a professional certificate to practice. However, if the certificate has expired, a refresher class must be taken.
CNA refresher courses are for previously certified CNAs who wish to re-certify. Successful completion of a refresher course can reactivate an expired or unused certificate. You can check with your state’s Nurse Aide Registry licensing authority to see if the CNA refresher course and CNA training will satisfy their requirements for re-certification.
