YOUR NEW CAREER AS A CNA OR CMA STARTS NOW
At Quality Career Pathways, you get more than just a medical certification. You get a partner that will help you find the career of your dreams. You will have access to a state-of-the-art remodeled facility, instructors who are licensed in their field with experience in a variety of medical environments and hiring partners that visit you in the Omaha classroom.
So, whether you choose to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), or Pharmacy Technician (PHARM) you have selected the right place. You can also hone your skills with a Pediatric CNA (PEDS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) course.
Join the CNA Course or CMA Course in-person at our Omaha location, or take an online hybrid course. Start now and you could be on your way to a new medical career in as little as a week.
UNDERSTANDING THE ONLINE HYBRID
Stay home and complete a portion of your coursework online before coming to the school to complete the hands-on training part of your CMA or CNA course. You may enroll in an Online Hybrid Course anytime. As soon as you complete the application and pay for the course, you will gain access to the online curriculum.
Because you must complete online course work before coming into Quality’s Omaha Campus to complete the hands-on training, courses will close approximately one week prior to the first day of hands-on training. This will allow students enough time to complete the online portion.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Hybrid Course Details:
A CNA certification requires 76 hours of training: 44 hours online and 32 hours in the classroom. We offer weekdays, evenings, and weekend class times. VIEW CNA COURSE SCHEDULE
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Hybrid Course Details:
A CMA certification requires 40 hours of training: 24 hours online and 16 hours in the classroom. VIEW CMA COURSE SCHEDULE
HANDS ON TRAINING
A key element to any successful CMA or CNA Course is the skills portion of the class. This is the time where you can shine and apply everything you learned online.
In our new state of the art skills rooms, you and your fellow classmates will practice your skills under the supervision of our instructors. You’ll learn from nurses who have experience in a healthcare setting.
CNA and CMA class sizes are small, so you will have plenty of opportunities to refine your skills and be ready for your exam.
And with the Pharmacy Technician program, you get hands on training at CHI Health with your externship.
COMPLETE YOUR TESTING AT QUALITY
The last step to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is the exam. When you enroll in a Quality certification course, exam fees are included in your tuition and you take your exams at the school at the conclusion of your course.
Or, if you completed your CMA coursework elsewhere, you can come to Quality’s Omaha location to sit for your written exam. Our school is one of the limited facilities that are approved by the state to conduct the written exam.
GET HIRED AFTER YOU GRADUATE
Six area employers have partnered with us to help kick start your medical career once you graduate. Learn what it takes to work in a hospital, at a nursing home or in the home healthcare setting.
While employment is never guaranteed, you will get access to hiring personnel at CHI Health, Children’s Hospital & Medical Center, Comfort Keepers, Douglas County Health Center, Hillcrest Health Services and Nebraska Medicine.
