We are looking for a collaborative team player who will administer stellar customer service during all student and team mate interactions. If you are reliable, hard-working, honest, and desire to be part of a quickly growing organization, then we want to speak with you! 

As an Academic Support Specialist, you will help students achieve their personal and professional goals as they navigate through our certification courses. You are an integral part of the process preparing our instructors and students for success. You are essential in both the before and after preparation for our courses and submitting licensure completion information on behalf of our students. 

A picture of your daily responsibilities might include: 

  • Data entry to include compliance with established systems as students move through the enrollment, payment, course, and completion process 
  • Answer phones, online chats, emails; file paperwork; utilize common office equipment; work collaboratively and respectively with others 
  • Prepare related reports on a regular and as-needed basis 
  • Audit and reconcile records and reports for accuracy and completeness 
  • Prepare class materials and paperwork for instructors 
  • Record and report student grades and information to DHHS 
  • Complete education administration tasks such as maintaining student records and tracking progress (initial interest, enrollment, course maintenance communication, homework status, course completion documentation) 

Qualifications that will help lead to your success: 

  • 1 year of office work experience (preferred) 
  • Typing skills of 40 wpm (preferred) 
  • Demonstrate competency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Docs (required) 
  • Collaborate respectively with internal and external stakeholders (required) 
  • Adapt to changing work conditions and project requirements (required) 
  • Work independently to successfully accomplish multiple tasks and projects concurrently (required) 
  • Be accountable with minimal supervision (required) 
  • Complete special projects on a timely basis as assigned (required) 
  • Must have reliable transportation (required) 
  • Must have unencumbered driver’s license, with proof of valid insurance (required)

Salary: $36,000 – $39,500 (salaried) DOE 

Schedule: 

  • Salary position–Monday through Friday; 8-hour shift (plus 1-hour lunch) 
  • Expected hours: 40 hours per week 
  • Limited, occasional on-call (rotating basis) 
  • Limited, occasional travel to our other locations (reimbursed mileage)
